Interesting news! American Idol favorite Adam Lambert is said to be considered to replace Jennifer Lopez should she finally leave the show. A source of E! News said that "They (American Idol) have been talking about Adam for over a month."
If this is true then I believe it may not be good for the show in many parts of the world as having someone openly gay and loud about it may not be very welcome to conservative families and organizations.Yes it's stupid and I know it but it's a fact.
Though the E! News source adds, “He knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end of the judges’ comments, he has a human touch, and they know they can’t go wrong if they bring him on. He would be able to bring a unique perspective to the show. People love him."
I cannot help but worry about this decision. Yes, there is no question that Adam is one of the world's greatest singers. Outstanding as a matter of fact. But, he has a tendency to be reckless and I myself have witnessed him kissing his own male band member on the lips during a concert. A display a parent would not want seen nor have his kid follow. But vocally, Adam has every right to judge especially when you compare him to Jennifer Lopez who the world knows is not exactly gifted in the singing area.
And speaking of J. Lo, E! News insists she has “no plans” to return for her third season.
